Transparency International France is the French chapter of the NGO Transparency International, present in 110 countries. Created in 1995, the organisation (under Franch Law of 1901) has individual (200) and institutional (companies, associations) members. Transparency International aims to raise awareness in the public opinion on the devastating consequences of corruption by working with governments, private sector and civil society in order to tackle it. The organization has a strong network of committed volunteers. It values transparency, responsibility, integrity, solidarity, courage, justice and democracy.

With its action, Transparency International seeks to overcome the crisis of confidence undermining today’s French democracy. The question of confidence in the institutions and in public statement is the core purpose of the advocacy of Transparency International on lobbying transparency, citizen participation, access to information, prevention of conflicts of interest, whistleblowers protection. The « Centre d’Action Juridique et d’Action Citoyenne » (CAJAC)aims at reinforcing the citizen action against corruption.

Objectives
