Transnational institute (TNI)

TNI is an international research and advocacy institute with over 40 years of experience working internationally on topics of justice, democracy and sustainability, and over 25 years of experience working with national and regional CSO partners in Southeast Asia. In Myanmar, TNI works on ethnic conflict, drugs policy and land policy and has developed strong relations of trust with many local CSOs including ethnic CSOs and EAOs. TNI has extensive prior experience in implementing and coordinating EU actions. In the proposed action TNI will coordinate international networking and take the lead in organizing the international component of fact-finding missions and urgent actions, as well as contribute relevant international insights and inputs in training and workshops activities and provide technical support to the Myanmar-based partners in research and advocacy activities.

Objectives

The objectives are to highlight the wrongdoings of States and corporations vs civil society and see how we can stop them and make sure the people retain the power.
