Objectives

The Core Team members of Citizens for Europe decided to plan ahead and invest in people, new topics, such as civic tech, anti racism, anti nationalism, and the broadening of networks. The strategy to empower civil society actors by reducing competition and strengthening their structures is something truly unique. The underlying principles of the network to strive for a self sustaining and supporting as well as more democratic and participatory Europe can today be seen in a bigger frame of more and more organizations cooperating in similar ways.

The style of communication which developed in the network has the potential to shape discourses and decision making structures from the bottom up. CFEU will continue to foster ppen and transparent communication that lead to a high level of trust which will give civil society organizations the power to shape polity, politics, and policy on their terms.
